Ive seen a few threads on this problem but no official word from any GM/Admin yet...

Basically my problem is:

I run the launcher.
I then get the pop-up error - "Can not decompress Protect.dll.gz"
I click OK
"Start game" is lit up so I click it.
The game starts up
KOSP Starts up
I then get another pop-up: "Cannot decompress data\Hyper Text\e\e.pk3"
Then I get a NULL Config error.

EDIT: I finally got it to work.

Here are the steps I took to fix it:

1) Completely uninstall AVG. Disabling won't do it.
2) After uninstalling, delete the AVG folder from Program Files.
3) Delete AVG from the registry (Run-> RegEdit, then find the AVG folder and delete it).
4) Restart the computer.

It works fine now. Hope this helps.

Tried it before bro, it didn't work. You're probably using XP. I'm stuck with Vista.
